The project is supported by Sabancı Foundation's Grant Programme and in partnership of METU Disability Support Office that lasted for three years from 2014-2015 term to 2016-2017 term. We came together with students who have different disabilities and study at various universities around Turkey. These students had training about rights based approach, the ways of following up and advocacy. Then, they developed solution suggestions in working groups by collecting data related to problems they face. Within the project, two extensive reports that are indicating the existing situation about accessibility in universities were published. A handbook which disabled student departments can use was prepared. Two short films named Accessible Campus & I’ve Been Blocked were shot to foster social awareness for disabled university students' problems.
